Sanaea Contractor

Sanaea Contractor is a New York Qualified (Admission Pending) Law Clerk at Gemini. She holds an LL.M. in Competition Innovation and Information Law from NYU School of Law, where she focused on the legal and regulatory frameworks governing intellectual property and emerging technologies. During her LL.M., she served as a Judicial Fellow to Justice Gerald Lebovits of the New York State Supreme Court, gaining experience in commercial matters before the court.

Before joining Gemini, Sanaea worked in-house at a global technology consultancy company in India, Cybage Software, where she developed familiarity with the operational and legal considerations surrounding AI enabled platforms and enterprise technology systems through close collaboration with engineering and product teams. She also gained experience in cross-border regulatory compliance and M&A at Ernst & Young, advising on transactions involving highly regulated industries, and trained at a Tier One Law Firm in India on trademark and competition matters with international dimensions.

Sanaea holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Applications, graduating at the top of her class with training in software architecture and programming.
